Why go?
There’s a particular kind of quiet you find only in the Eastern Himalayas — mist curling over tea gardens in Darjeeling, prayer flags fluttering above Gangtok, and on a clear morning, Kanchenjunga glowing pink at sunrise. This 6 Nights 7 Days Sikkim–Darjeeling tour package brings together both these Himalayan gems in one unhurried journey.
At My Trip Guide, we build this trip around real acclimatisation and real time to soak it all in — three days exploring Darjeeling’s colonial charm and tea estates, followed by three days discovering Gangtok’s monasteries, markets, and high-altitude lakes.
Perfect for honeymooners, families, and anyone who wants to trade the heat for mountain air and a slower pace of travel.
Tour Highlights
- Darjeeling – Tiger Hill sunrise over Kanchenjunga, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, tea garden visit, Batasia Loop
- Gangtok – MG Marg, Do Drul Chorten, Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok
- Tsomgo (Changu) Lake & Baba Mandir – High-altitude lake excursion (permit required, subject to weather)
- Scenic drives – Rangit Valley views, winding hill roads connecting Bengal and Sikkim
- Note: Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass excursions require an Inner Line Permit and are subject to weather, road, and permit availability — these can occasionally be cancelled without prior notice.
